Thus my fears were confirmed. It is Premiere that has been causing me the arseache with bad rendering, not the computer it's been running on. Not such a great way to present the animatic to my test screeners, but unless I get another version of Premiere (not Elements, apparently they don't read ppj files) , I don't have much of a choice in the matter.
And Premiere CS is about £400. Uunnnhh...
On the up side, I have written all the animatic edit notes and needed cameo voice lists for the movie. Taking a bit of a break for now before I tackle the edits themselves though - don't want to run out of steam on the project by doing too much at once.
VA seeking will happen some time after the edits are over.
